Outlier Society

Jordan didn’t just step up at Black Lives Matter protests and call upon Hollywood to hire more black creators. He’s taken steps to make it happen. His Warner Bros.-based production company, Outlier Society, has an entertainment internship and mentorship program for L.A.-area youths 18-24 that, in the wake of COVID shutdowns, he supplemented with a virtual summer showbiz education program for marginalized communities, established in partnership with Endeavor Impact. The pandemic has also put a temporary speedbump in Jordan’s acting career, delaying the theatrical release of upcoming spy thriller “Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse” — in which he plays a former Navy SEAL out for vengeance — from 2020 to an undisclosed date on Amazon Prime. He’s also reportedly considering directing a third installment of the “Creed” franchise.
