Jordan entered Tom Clancy’s “Jack Ryan” universe in 2021, starring in Amazon’s “Without Remorse,” the origin story of the fictional action hero John Clark and produced under his Outlier Society banner. Jordan plays another military hero in December’s “A Journal for Jordan” from Sony, which tells the true story of 1st Sgt. Charles Monroe King, who wrote a guide to life for his son before he was killed in action in Baghdad. The movie offered Jordan the chance to be directed by Denzel Washington as well, offering the star adequate prep before he steps behind the camera for his directorial debut, “Creed III,” in which he reprises his role as Adonis Creed. Behind the scenes, he launched Obsidianworks, a marketing agency focused on promoting authentic representation of people of color.
