As the leader of Netflix’s global kids and family animation team, Cobb brought in features such as the musical “Over the Moon,” directed by Oscar winner Glen Keane, and “Klaus,” a 2019 Oscar nominee for best animated feature. She scored a homegrown hit with “The Willoughbys,” Netflix’s second original animated film, which was streamed by 37.6 million families in its first four weeks on the platform. Cobb’s slate includes series and films by creators such as Sergio Pablos, James Baxter, Kris Pear and Guillermo del Toro. And she’s developing “Bookmarks: Celebrating Black Voices,” a project designed to spark conversations around identity and social justice featuring Black celebrities and artists reading aloud from children’s books that explore the Black experience.
