Cobb scored big in in April 2021 with “The Mitchells vs. the Machines,” which was viewed by 53 million households and became Netflix’s biggest animated featured to date. She brought the streamer an Oscar nomination for best animated feature with Glen Keane and John Kahrs’ “Over the Moon.” Cobb joined Netflix as head of its animated film team in 2017 following 13 years at DreamWorks Animation, where she produced the “Kung Fu Panda” franchise. Under her leadership, the streamer has greenlit projects from Oscar winner Guillermo del Toro (“Cabinet of Curiosities”) and signed a collection of acclaimed animators to overall deals, including Jorge Gutierrez (“Maya and the Three”), Chris Williams (“Jacob and the Sea Beast”) and Chris Nee (“Ridley Jones”).
