Since joining Netflix to head its kids and family programming in 2017, Cobb has set up animated feature projects with “Despicable Me” co-creator Sergio Pablos, Guillermo del Toro, Henry Selick, Jordan Peele and Wyclef Jean, as well as closed deals to acquire the children’s educational brand “StoryBots” and bring the works of late author Roald Dahl to television for the first time ever. She has also inked Chris Williams (“Moana,” “Big Hero Six”), Peabody winner Chris Nee (“Doc McStuffins”) and Darla Anderson (“Coco,” “Toy Story 3”) to overall pacts. Cobb made her bones producing a trio of “Kung Fu Panda” films at DreamWorks, before doing a 21-month stint (2016-17) as chief creative officer and head of studio at Oriental DreamWorks in Shanghai.
