Partner and Head, Music Department

This longtime exec, who co-founded Lollapalooza in 1991, has been head of William Morris Endeavor’s music division since 2009. Always forward thinking, Geiger launched the groundbreaking ARTISTdirect in 1994 as a way to connect musicians and their fans and formed one of the industry’s first electronic dance-music booking divisions at WME. His company represented 10 of the top 25 touring acts of 2017, including Bruno Mars, Depeche Mode, Roger Waters and the late Tom Petty, grossing more than $750 million. Geiger hired Scott Clayton away from CAA Nashville office to run WME’s rock division, bringing in Kings of Leon and Dead & Company. WME is instrumental in breaking new artists, from “AGT” winner Grace VanderWaal to young Michigan rock band Greta Van Fleet.
