Global Head, Contemporary Music & Touring
Recently relocating to Los Angeles from London to head up all of contemporary music and touring, Dickins in August became the first woman to run the music department at any major talent agency. A quick look at her client list further affirms her authority: Adele, Olivia Rodrigo, Mumford & Sons and James Blake, to name just a few. Artists signed to the agency this year include Lil Baby, J. Balvin and Meek Mill. On the festival circuit, WME did more than 850 client deals among its 4,000-plus festival bookings. Among the acts who expanded their opportunities this year were Camila Cabello, who became a judge on “The Voice”; Selena Gomez, who hosted “Saturday Night Live” and launched a kitchenware line while continuing her Hulu and HBO Max series; and Kid Cudi headlining a McDonald’s campaign.
