As attorney for Ben Stiller, whose career ranges from top screen roles to executive producing and writing movies and television series, Lawrence Rose maintains a busy schedule, but not too busy to represent directors Cameron Crowe and Joe Johnston, producer/writer Steve Zaillian, comedy film producer/director Tom Shadyac, filmmaker Peter Segal, and Carl Franklin, who has been nominated for Emmys for his direction of two episodes of “House of Cards.” He also counseled Chris Carter in his deal for the return of “The X-Files” to Fox.
He reps author Stephen King in deals for screen versions of his novels and short stories, which in recent months included “It,” “The Dark Tower,” “Cujo: Canine Unit Joint Operations,” “Gerald’s Game,” and episodes of “Mr. Mercedes” and “The Mist,” as well as an array of short films.
Rose also is a passionate animal rescue advocate, founding the nonprofit Rascal & Chloe Dog and Cat Rescue organization to help homeless and abused dogs and cats.
