Kenichiro Yoshida

Sony Corporation

President / CEO

A Sony lifer who rose through the ranks, Yoshida was running Sony’s So-net Internet services unit in November 2013 when then-president and CEO Kaz Hirai tapped him for top management. He has also resisted calls by activist investor Daniel Loeb of the Third Point hedge fund to sell off Sony businesses, including Sony Pictures Entertainment, saying that SPE is central to Sony’s strategy going forward.
