Meigs had a busy year closing big deals for his wide-ranging client roster. He set Kaley Cuoco for a second season as star and exec producer of HBO’s “The Flight Attendant”; inked a five-year extension on Issa Rae’s deal with WarnerMedia; and closed a four-year pact for Prentice Penny to provide TV content to the Disney ecosystem, with an emphasis on its newly established Onyx Collective, dedicated to underrepresented creators. He has had a string of new client signings, including Sherri Shepherd, E.J. Williams (star of ABC’s “Wonder Years” reboot) and Otmara Marrero (Netflix’s “Florida Man”). The first BIPOC equity partner at his firm, the South Central L.A. native also represents Tyra Banks, Ryan Seacrest, Trevor Noah, Sara Gilbert and Aisha Tyler.
