Lubin had several major signings in 2022, such as four-time Oscar nominee Michelle Williams, two-time Oscar winner Anthony Hopkins and Jon Bernthal, the star of Showtime’s “American Gigolo” series. Those added to a client list that also includes Andrew Garfield, who was Oscar nominated for best actor in the Lin-Manuel Miranda-directed “Tick, Tick… Boom,” and Tom Cruise, who scored the year’s biggest hit with $1.5 billion grosser “Top Gun: Maverick,” along with Ralph Fiennes, Carey Mulligan, David Oyelowo, Colin Farrell, Mark Rylance, Josh Brolin, James Corden, Chris Evans, Vanessa Kirby and Jude Law. An 18-year veteran of the venerable agency, Lubin co-led the integration of the motion picture departments of CAA and ICM Partners in the wake of the latter’s acquisition, completed in June 2022.
