When CAA acquired ICM Partners in 2022, APA head Gosnell used it as an opportunity to enhance his own agency’s power and reach. Working alongside APA president Jim Osborne, he signed 16 new agents, including 12 from ICM, adding more than 300 clients to APA’s roster and eight figures to its annual top-line revenue. Among his new signings are Regina Hall, Ken Jeong, Nathalie Emmanuel, Marc Maron, Michael Cera and Michael Rainey Jr., along with more than 200 music and comedy touring clients, including Martin Lawrence, Mike Epps, Blackbear, Kamasi Washington and JAX, and over 50 alternative television showrunners, executive producers and production companies. Individual ICM Partners agents brought into the APA fold include Andrew Rogers and Ryan Wackerman, who were named global head of talent and SVP of alternative and factual programming, respectively.
