You’d be hard-pressed to find a studio as prolific, consistent and quality driven as Japan’s FromSoftware. With a president as creatively involved in its games as Miyazaki, the company has constantly expanded and improved upon its output of challenging, boss-driven RPG games, with Miyazaki first becoming a major name in gaming via From’s “Dark Souls” series. But as of February’s “Elden Ring,” he has elevated the company to mainstream status, accruing 16 million units sold by June as well as critical and player acclaim from gamers both familiar and new to his experiences.
