President / COO

Tsujimoto succeeded his father, current Capcom chair and CEO Kenzo Tsujimoto, as president in 2007. By 2021, he’s notched four straight fiscal years of record-high profits and eight for growth in consolidated operating profits. Capcom’s two biggest franchises saw 2021 releases via multiplatform “Resident Evil Village” and “Monster Hunter Rise” for Nintendo Switch, the latter selling over 7 million units by October. Likewise, the fiscal year ending March 2021 recorded more than 30 million combined sales, Capcom’s highest ever. The publisher still partners with Sony Pictures for film releases, with a “Resident Evil” reboot dropped over Thanksgiving after prior franchise director Paul W.S. Anderson helmed a “Monster Hunter” adaptation in 2020.
