As of March, Tsujimoto has overseen nine consecutive fiscal years of consolidated operating profit growth in addition to five straight fiscal years of record-high profit across Capcom, making him a truly efficient leader prioritizing the right IP at the Japanese publisher. The “Resident Evil” series continues to sell well, with 2021’s “Resident Evil Village” surpassing 6 million units as of June, while 2021’s “Monster Hunter Rise” has added more than 11 million units to the “Monster Hunter” franchise following the release of 2018’s “Monster Hunter: World,” which remains Capcom’s bestselling game ever at more than 18 million units.
