Moot

Co-Chair / CEO

Moot and co-chair Carianne Marshall bonded quickly when he joined Warner Chappell in 2019, and 2020 suggests the partnership was destined, as the publishing giant showed a 41% gain in digital revenue in fiscal Q3. Through August, Warner Chappell had placed 240 songs on the Billboard Hot 100, including number ones for The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” and Roddy Ricch’s “The Box,” written with 30 Roc and Dat Boi Squeeze. The company signed Sean Douglas (Thomas Rhett, Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas), the production team of Yeti Beats and Lydia Asrat (Doja Cat), as well as the estate of Pop Smoke. Moot is also revamping the publisher’s production music unit, opening studios in Hollywood and Nashville.
