Allred, Maroko & Goldberg

Allred’s headline-grabbing work on behalf of her mostly female clients has not always been well received. But with the recent spike in awareness about sexual abuse and harassment, society has become more attuned to her brand of fierce advocacy. In the past year, she has represented women who allege they are victims of Harvey Weinstein, President Trump and singer Chris Brown, along with three who were witnesses in the criminal case against Bill Cosby and another who filed a civil suit against the comic legend. She’s also representing six NFL cheerleaders suing the Houston Texans for underpayment and a hostile work environment. A feature-length documentary on her life and work, “Seeing Allred,” premiered at 2018’s Sundance and is streaming on Netflix.
