King

Journalist / TV Host

This CBS News stalwart co-anchors the network’s morning program, which moved into a Times Square studio in November 2021 with new co-host amd former NFL player Nate Burleson. Rechristened “CBS Mornings,” the show will still lean heavily into the hard-hitting journalism that is King’s trademark. But her interviews with newsmakers from the worlds of culture and politics have stood at its center since “CBS Mornings” was reworked in 2019, as King has conversed with everyone from Bruce Springsteen to convicted sex criminal R. Kelly, often playing a significant role in CBS News’ national coverage throughout. King was a longtime senior editor at O: The Oprah Magazine and has maintained a professional and friendly relationship with Oprah Winfrey.
