Frances
Berwick
Chairman, Entertainment Networks
Berwick is a cable veteran who was a Bravo executive before she was elevated to managing E!, Oxygen and other entertainment channels. Now she is using her programming, scheduling and marketing skills to keep NBCU’s cable channels as robust as possible. Berwick was the natural choice to lead distribution and business aspects of the channels after NBCUniversal unveiled a radical restructuring of its television operations in late 2020. She added oversight of NBC to her portfolio just in time to grapple with the controversy over the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s practices with the Golden Globe Awards. She has also worked hard to develop a relationship with NBC’s biggest hitmaker, producer Dick Wolf, which yielded an agreement to revive “Law & Order.”
