With six films as Wanda Maximoff (aka the Scarlet Witch) in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as well as an Emmy-nominated star turn in Disney+’s 2021 series “WandaVision,” Olsen catapulted herself from the indie world into the mainstream. Whether her Wanda double feature — first “WandaVision” and then as the villain in this spring’s “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” — will be her final appearance as the character is unlikely, but Marvel hasn’t yet announced any solid plans for Olsen’s return. Having been an exec producer and star of the critically praised Facebook Watch series “Sorry for Your Loss,” which ran for two seasons, she is looking to take on new work behind the scenes.
