Bowser

President

Despite sharing a name with the gaming company’s signature villain, Bowser has only done great things for Nintendo prior to replacing Reggie Fils-Aimé in 2019. He joined Nintendo in 2015 amid disappointing Wii U sales, following tenures with EA and Procter & Gamble, but as VP and then SVP of sales and marketing he instigated the successful 2017 launch of the Switch console, which has sold over 40 million units (Wii U didn’t pass 14 million). Nintendo’s first-party titles have also wowed: Its number one game, “Mario Kart 8 Deluxe” has sold 19 million units — more than twice as much as the original Wii U version  — and “Super Smash Bros. Ultimate” sold over 15 million since releasing a year ago.
