Chernyshenko heads one of Russia’s largest entertainment and media conglomerates. Its companies include leading TV broadcasters NTV and TNT, top film distributor and production company Central Partnership, which distributes the movies of Paramount and Summit in Russia, and video platform Rutube. In 2018, Chernyshenko oversaw the successful launch of subscription streaming operator TNT Premier, and in 2019, Gazprom-Media joined other leading Russian broadcasters in launching the Vitrina TV project, a Russian take on Hulu’s model. Its companies’ productions include hit movies “Policeman From Rublevka” and “Three Seconds,” and TV series “Gogol,” acquired by Amazon Prime Video in Canada, the U.S. and the U.K. Upcoming movies include the adaptation of the cult sci-fi novel “Metro 2033.”
