Delphine Ernotte Cunci
Manuel Braun

France Télévisions

Chairman / President / CEO

Ernotte Cunci, who was reelected as president of France Télévisions for a second five-year term in July 2020, is known for wielding an iron fist in a velvet glove. Aiming to expand the public broadcaster’s scope and attract younger audiences, she was able to poach Manuel Alduy — a well-respected French film and TV veteran who worked Canal+ Group for 22 years — as head of cinema and international development. Ernotte Cunci also played a pivotal role in launching a first-look initiative with the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), an alliance of public-service media including the BBC in the U.K., ARD in Germany, DR in Denmark, SVT in Sweden and Rai in Italy. Another of Ernotte Cunci’s recent accomplishments is the launch of Salto, a streaming service jointly created by TF1 and M6.
