Partner / Co-Head, Global Music
The partner whose roster already included the Jonas Brothers, Pitbull, Toni Braxton and Yusuf/Cat Stevens lured Demi Lovato to UTA in July, while agents hired this year and last added acts Halsey, Machine Gun Kelly and Bebe Rexha. When COVID knocked out touring last year, Zedeck and co-head Samantha Kirby Yoh ramped up alternate revenue sources from livestreams and brands. Since the disruption began in 2020, UTA’s Music Brand Partnerships closed more than 500 deals, swelling annual revenue by 200%. The firm also found film and TV music ops, ranging from composing to music supervision, for talents like Florence + the Machine, Harvey Mason Jr. and Phil Lawrence. When live shows became a 2021 possibility, he booked the Jonas Brothers’ 44-date amphitheater tour and a 32-city swing for Pitbull and Iggy Azalea.
