VP, International Film
The London-based Kosse works with regional Netflix execs and filmmakers from Latin America to Sub-Saharan Africa to produce and acquire a diverse selection of films in a multitude of languages to serve its vast membership base, more than half of which watches content made in a language other than English or their country’s own native tongue. He leads a team that encompasses creative, finance, physical production, post, visual effects and legal affairs. Prior to joining Netflix in 2019 to head its then-new international film division, he did stints at STX Entertainment and Film4, where he helped shepherd such Oscar-winning movies as “Room” and “Ex Machina.” Among his 2021 releases are Paolo Sorrentino’s “The Hand of God,” “The Last Mercenary,” starring Jean-Claude Van Damme, and “Oxygen,” starring Mélanie Laurent.
