Producer

Until now, Heyman’s best-known efforts have been his big-screen adaptations of J.K. Rowling works (“Harry Potter” and “Fantastic Beast” franchises) and the beloved Paddington Bear children’s books. But this year he scored with another type of fantasy, “Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood,” which gave Quentin Tarantino his biggest opening ever. The busy Brit also produced writer-director Noah Baumbach’s upcoming Netflix feature “Marriage Story,” starring Scarlett Johansson and Adam Driver, and the BBC miniseries “The Capture,” which debuted in September. His current slate includes features “The Secret Garden” (April 2020), directed by Marc Mundren, and “Fantastic Beasts 3” (2021) from David Yates, as well as two small-screen efforts — a 2020 series adaptation of “Paddington” for Nickelodeon and Netflix thriller series “Clickbait.”
