President, Warner Bros. Games
With all the dramatic strategy shifts underway at Warner Bros. Discovery, it’s easy to forget that Warner Bros. still makes games, rather than simply licensing out IP. Haddad’s purview has him presiding over buzzy upcoming titles derived from the studio’s IP, with open-world “Hogwarts Legacy” due in February 2023. The games division had a hit earlier in 2022 with “LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga,” the biggest launch yet for its series of LEGO games, as well as mobile game “Harry Potter: Magic Awakened,” which WB Games teamed up with NetEase to make. As Haddad’s unit continues to refine “MultiVersus,” its take on Nintendo’s popular “Super Smash Bros.” crossover fighting game, it will have to ensure a successful launch for “Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League,” its next DC game, as “Gotham Knights” had a lackluster debut in October.
