Chang’s primary occupation is as founder of the famed Momofuku restaurant group (translated as “lucky peach”), which has hotspots in New York, Toronto and Sydney. But in recent years, the James Beard Award winner pushed his expertise into the entertainment sphere, creating, producing and starring in the travel and food docuseries “Ugly Delicious” on Netflix, which hails from his Majordomo Media entertainment group and was renewed for a second season. His media presence continues to rise in 2019 with a new multi-year, multi-show pact with Hulu and fellow gastronome Chrissy Teigen to produce the streaming service’s first slate of food-focused programming, including the upcoming “Family Style,” exploring how people unite through cooking and dining together, and the foodie travelogue “Eater’s Guide to the World.”
