Eileen Saki, known for her role as bar owner Rosie in “M*A*S*H,” died on Monday in Los Angeles after a battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 79.Saki’s rep confirmed her death to Variety. The actor was featured on nine episodes of “M*A*S*H,” the television series based on the Mobile Army Surgical Hospital that cared for patients during the Korean War. Black is frequently called up by companies looking to create film, TV and digital content from their intellectual property. He is lead counsel for toymaker Spin Master, recently negotiating the windows for its “Paw Patrol” movie via Paramount and Paramount+, and primary counsel for Pokémon, for whom he cut deals with Netflix and Universal Music Group. In 2021, Black took on similar roles with video game developer Bungie (“Halo,” “Destiny”) and Microsoft cofounder Bill Gates and his Gates Ventures, providing ongoing insight and legal expertise related to content creation. He has also handled employment and new venture agreements for many senior entertainment and media executives, including Kim Goodwin, for whom he concurrently negotiated her separation from CBS News and her new post as president of ABC News.
