In May, Fogelman became the latest TV creator to sign a mega-deal when he inked a five-year pact with Disney’s 20th Century Fox Television reportedly worth around $125 million. It’s a reunion of sorts for the “This Is Us” (NBC) conceiver, who left Disney’s ABC Studios in 2015 to sign with the studio, which was absorbed by the Mouse House when it was acquired in March. The three-time Emmy nominee also created the TV series “Like Family” (2003-04), “The Neighbors” (2012-14), “Galavant” (2015-16) and “Pitch” (2016). On the feature side, he scripted the likes of “Cars” (2006), “Crazy, Stupid, Love” (2011) and “Last Vegas” (2013) and wrote and directed “Life Itself” (2018), starring Oscar Isaac and Olivia Wilde, and “Danny Collins” (2015), with Al Pacino.
