The hits just keep on coming in this 16th year that Kallman and co-chair Julie Greenwald have headed up Atlantic. Small wonder that parent Warner Music installed managing partners atop Warner Records and Warner Chappell Music in recent years. Cardi B’s “Up” hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and is the only 2021 single by a female rapper to be certified multiplatinum, racking up more than 310 million streams since its February release. Cardi B can also be heard on Lizzo’s latest hit, “Rumors,” which debuted at No. 4 on the Hot 100 and No. 1 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, marking Lizzo’s third No. 1 and Cardi’s seventh on the latter chart. Atlantic also led the Hot 100 with “Leave the Door Open,” by Silk Sonic, which pairs Bruno Mars with Anderson .Paak.
