VP, Original Series
Netflix massively expanded its offerings under Holland’s supervision in 2018, and now the streaming platform seeks to drive up paying subscriptions even further past the 150 million mark as a field of challengers emerges in the direct-to-consumer subscription streaming market. She oversaw the launch of recent series “Russian Doll” and “Dead to Me” as well as the wrap of “Orange Is the New Black,” part of Netflix’s first wave of originals. Under her watch, the streaming giant earned 118 Emmy nominations in 2019 — second only to HBO — and has signed high-profile overall deals with the likes of Shonda Rhimes, Kenya Barris, Jenji Kohan and Ryan Murphy, not to mention Janet Mock, the first openly trans creator to ink a studio deal.
