Recently named Fox entertainment CEO, Collier joins the broadcaster on the strength of his track record as a cable executive. In his 12 years at AMC — first as GM, later as president — he led the network through a period of historic growth powered by original series “Mad Men,” “Breaking Bad,” and “The Walking Dead,” all cultural and critical hits, with the latter being the highest-rated basic-cable program in the history of television. Among the series he developed are “Fear the Walking Dead,” “Better Call Saul,” “Halt and Catch Fire,” “Humans,” “Into the Badlands,” “Loaded,” “The Night Manager,” “The Son,” and “Preacher.” He joined AMC in 2006 as general manager of AMC, having previously worked at Court TV, Oxygen Media, A&E Networks and TeleRep.
