Wasserman’s eponymous sports, entertainment and lifestyle marketing and management agency reps more than half of the Megan Rapinoe-led USWST World Cup championship team, along with numerous other pro athletes, including wide receiver Amari Cooper, for whom it recently negotiated a five-year, $100 million contract with the Dallas Cowboys. As head of LA 2028, the nonprofit responsible for bringing the Olympics to Los Angeles, he sent a communiqué to the IOC in June 2020 asking it to review Rule 50 and allow athletes to demonstrate and share anti-racist advocacy during the games. He also launched CrowdAmp, a pandemic-friendly product connecting fans unable to be in attendance at live sporting events, which was used at the 2020 U.S. Open tennis tournament under the name Fan Cam.
