VP, Global TV

CBS and Universal Television veteran Bajaria has had a meteoric rise in her four years at Netflix, starting out in unscripted and licensing before moving on in 2019 to programming local-language originals. In September 2020, Bajaria was upped again, this time to head of global TV at the dominant streamer, where she now oversees all TV programming, including scripted, unscripted and limited series. She brought Netflix hits such as “You” and the “Queer Eye” reboot and manages the teams responsible for “Money Heist,” “The Witcher” and “Dark,” among other originals in local languages. Now, as the streamer focuses on growth outside the U.S. — a key aim for the company amid a sea of new competitors stateside — Bajaria is at the forefront of its next era.
