Toronto native Drake, full name Aubrey Drake Graham, dominated U.S. music streams in 2018 with his multi-platinum, Grammy-contending “Scorpion” and its chart-topping singles “God’s Plan,” “Nice for What” and the dance-spawning hit of the summer, “In My Feelings.” Last July, every one of the double-album’s 25 tracks had charted on the Billboard 100 as rumors swirled the hip-hop star might be moving from Republic to Def Jam Records. Drake is currently on his Aubrey and the Three Migos tour. He runs his OVO label through Warner Bros., struck sponsorship deals with Nike and Sprite and signed an innovative $19 million pact with Apple Music that has produced all-Drake-all-the-time radio, several ads and the 23-minute short “Please Forgive Me,” a visual companion to his album “Views.”
