Bocco

President

Since joining IFC Films in 2006, Bocco has led all acquisition efforts, building it into a top indie distributor with a diverse array of acclaimed titles, including Richard Linklater’s coming-of-age drama “Boyhood,” Armando Iannucci’s political satire “The Death of Stalin” and Jennifer Kent’s Aussie horror hit “The Babadook.” In December 2020, she was upped from EVP of acquisitions to president of the company (a division of AMC Networks), adding production, marketing and theatrical film distribution to her purview, as well as the company’s streaming service IFC Films Unlimited. She was busy with IFC’s checkbook in 2021, picking up the North American rights to such films as Mia Hansen-Løve’s romantic drama “Bergman Island,” Sean King O’Grady’s horror film “We Need to Do Something” and Paolo Pilladi’s comedy “Last Call.”
