Iervolino

Cofounder / CEO / President

Iervolino is pushing his AMBI-financed live-action film “Waiting for the Barbarians,” an imperialist POW film starring Johnny Depp, for the 2020-21 awards race, but when COVID-19 hit — temporarily shutting down the Rome shoot for his film “Eddie & Sunny,” with Gabriel Luna — he decided to shift his strategic focus to animation. The latest efforts at his company’s studios in Rome and Serbia include the series “Puffins,” also featuring Depp as the lead voice, and “Arctic Friends,” a spinoff of his 2019 animated “Arctic Dogs.” An entrepreneurial prodigy, he went from setting up local websites in his hometown of Cassino, Italy when he was just 13 to earning co-executive producer credit on 2005’s “The Merchant of Venice,” which starred Al Pacino and released when he was 17.
