Pascal ended her decades-long run at Sony Pictures, which included her stint as co-chief through 2015, in 2019 to switch partners. She moved her Pascal Pictures shingle to Universal, but she’s still working on Marvel Studios projects in the works at her old Culver City stomping grounds. Her 2021 film “Spider-­Man: No Way Home” became the third-highest-grossing film of all time domestically ($804 million) and the sixth-highest-grossing release worldwide ($1.9 billion). Pascal is currently at work on “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse,” due in June 2023, the first of two planned sequels to her Oscar-winning 2018 animated feature “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-­Verse.” She’s also producing tennis drama “Challengers,” directed by Luca  Guadagnino and starring Zendaya, which is scheduled to be released by MGM in 2023.
