EVP, Talent & Content Development

Amid the roller coaster news cycle of the past few years, CNN’s prolific Original Series unit has been a bastion of ratings stability for the all-news giant with a stream of clicky docuseries. Entelis’ team scored in the first half of 2021 with smartly produced multipart series “The Story of Late Night” and “History of the Sitcom.” Another strong performer has been the foodie travelogue series hosted by actor Stanley Tucci, “Searching for Italy.” Entelis also oversees CNN Films, the doc production and acquisition unit known for strong ties in the nonfiction creative community. Savvy pickups of late include 2018’s “RBG” 2020’s “John Lewis: Good Trouble” and 2021’s “LFG.” In December 2020, Entelis set a co-production pact with BBC to produce a feature doc chronicling development of the COVID-19 vaccine.
