EVP, Talent & Content Development

With Jeff Zucker potentially exiting the top job at CNN in 2021, Entelis has been mentioned as a potential successor. Her work has long helped the network extend its brand to documentary films like “Blackfish” and series involving the late Anthony Bourdain. She helped launch CNN Films’ production partnership with HBO Max, kicking off with campaign doc “On the Trail,” and acquired, produced or commissioned more than 20 docs for big and small screens, including “John Lewis: Good Trouble.” Entelis’ work gives CNN viewers something beyond the immediate headlines. She joined the channel in 2012 and has been instrumental in hiring upwards of 30 journalists, thanks to previous experience at ABC News.
