Whoever says social media stars have no talent clearly hasn’t met Rae. The TikTok dancer — who, just two years ago, quit her studies at LSU for her growing social media career — landed the lead role in Netflix’s “He’s All That,” the modern-day remake of Freddie Prinze Jr.’s 90’s rom-com that streamed in August 2021. The success of the flick lead to a multi-picture film deal at Netflix, showcasing the streamer’s commitment to the 21-year-old star. Rae, who says she’s always wanted to be an actor, might not be the most-followed person on TikTok (see Charli D’Amelio), but she is the most lucrative. Last year, Forbes named her the highest-earning personality on the platform, estimating annual earnings of $5 million. Not too bad for a college dropout.
