This Week in Entertainment 1976

Jerry Lewis was a fixture every Labor Day weekend for decades with a telethon to benefit muscular dystrophy research, featuring such stars as Sammy Davis Jr, Frank Sinatra, and other big-name celebs. But the 1976 edition was also famous for Lewis’ reunion with longtime, long-estranged comedy partner Dean Martin, orchestrated by Sinatra. Until that time, Lewis and Martin had not been seen together publicly since they ended their act in 1956.
