In addition to <I>Variety</I> she has been published in many Canadian consumer magazines, including Canadian Living, Chatelaine, Toronto Life, Elm Street and Cottage Life. She spent several years working in the television industry in London, England, and in Toronto; in 1994 began her journalism career as an intern at the Globe & Mail's Report on Business section and then spent 1995 and 1996 as senior writer for Canadian Business Magazine. She continues to freelance and has literary aspirations. In her spare time, she cottages in Muskoka where she owns snowshoes and knows how to use them.
