Jorn Rossing Jensen has been a stringer for <I>Variety</I> since 1999. An educated journalist, and culture editor for a leading Danish daily, he worked for 10 years at the Concert Hall Aarhus, where he organised Scandinavian tours for Orchestre de Paris, Martha Graham Dance Company ao, instigating the Aarhus International Jazz Festival. Since 1976 he has reported on Scandinavian cinema for Screen International, then Moving Pictures, garnering him a Finnish knighthood (SLR). Jensen spends most of his time in France, where he nurtures his interests in food, wine and the arts, as well as his innate laziness.
