Sean “Diddy” Combs has signed with WME in all areas and will launch “The Excellence Program,” a virtual development program and resume database for aspiring entertainment executives hailing from underrepresented communities.

The Excellence Program, created in partnership with Endeavor, will debut on July 12. The six-week program will be free for eligible students looking to break into entertainment, marketing, music or fashion, and it will include sessions covering touring, performing, professional development, entertainment business and storytelling taught by an array of industry experts including Joey Bada$$, Cari Champion, Victor Cruz, Bill Duffy, Desiree Gruber, Terrence Jenkins, Reggie Love, Marshawn Lynch, French Montana, Guy Oseary, Rajon Rondo, Lindsey Vonn, Gus Wenner and Jeff Burroughs.

Also leading courses are executives from Amazon Studios, Amazon Web Services, MSG Entertainment, Revolt Media, Combs Enterprises, WME, Endeavor Content and IMG Models. Combs Enterprises and Endeavor have committed to hiring interns and entry-level employees from The Excellence Program.

Combs will kickstart the program with “Igniting the Excellence in You.” When the program ends, top participants will be considered for internships in the contributing companies and entered into a “resume book” to be shared across the industry in an effort to diversify hiring pipelines and recruiting.

“Beginning my career as an intern changed my life, so it’s been a lifelong dream to give the next generation of entrepreneurs and executives access to the best in entertainment, marketing, music and fashion,” Combs said. “Partnering with Endeavor creates a pipeline to opportunities that allow future leaders to not only succeed, but thrive in these highly competitive industries.”
