Silk Factory has recently delivered campaigns for best picture Oscar-winner “Parasite,” “Portrait of a Lady on Fire,” “Horizon Line” and “Crock of Gold.” It made the announcement Friday.
In his new role, Baker is set to attend the online American Film Market, which launches Nov. 9. He will present a session titled “Marketing for Producers & Filmmakers.”
Baker previously served as FilmNation’s executive vice president of marketing and creative advertising, through its initial decade of of expansion. He spearheaded the international release of over 100 titles including “Arrival,” “The King’s Speech,” “The Big Sick,” “Looper,” “Magic Mike,” “Room,” “Under the Skin,” “The Imitation Game” and the films of Pedro Almodóvar and Terrence Malick.
