Filmmaker Derek Cianfrance, along with Mark Ruffalo and his costars Rosie O’Donnell, Archie Panjabi, John Procaccino, Philip Ettinger and Kathryn Hahn will participate in an exclusive Q&A discussing the limited series on June 17 at 4pm PT/ 7pm ET. The conversation in the Variety Streaming Room presented by HBO will be moderated by Variety’s Cynthia Littleton.
Based on the New York Times Bestseller of the same name, “I Know This Much Is True” is a six-part limited drama series that premiered on May 10. The series follows identical twin brothers, Dominick and Thomas Birdsey, played by Ruffalo, in their parallel lives. The story of betrayal, sacrifice and forgiveness is set in the fictional town of Three Rivers, Connecticut, showing Dominick and Thomas at different stages in their lives, beginning in their present in the early 1990s with both brothers approaching middle-age, filled in with Dominick’s flashbacks to their young adulthood and childhood.
