The series premiere of “Wisdom of the Crowd” on CBS pulled in the biggest audience for a scripted series on Sunday night, according to Nielsen overnight data.

Airing at 8:30 p.m., the new drama averaged a 1.4 rating in adults 18-49 and 8.9 million viewers. While that was the biggest audience for a scripted show for the night, “Wisdom of the Crowd” tied in the demo with the series premiere of “Ghosted” on Fox, which aired from 8:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Earlier on CBS, “60 Minutes” (2.0, 12 million) was down in both measures from its debut last week. The Season 9 debut of “NCIS: Los Angeles” drew a 1.2 and 8.5 million viewers, down approximately 20% in the demo and 18% in total viewers from the Season 8 launch. It should be noted that, due to late-running football, CBS primetime started at 7:30 p.m. in the Eastern and Central time zones.

On NBC, the “Sunday Night Football” matchup between the Seattle Seahawks and Indianapolis Colts is currently averaging a 4.5 and 13.2 million viewers, though those numbers are not time-zone adjusted and are therefore subject to greater revision later today. The game also pulled a 11.0 rating/19 share in metered market households, even with the comparable week 4 game last season. Top markets for the game were: Seattle 42.5/68; Indianapolis 21.0/33; Portland 18.9/34; New Orleans 16.4/23; Milwaukee 15.3/25; Norfolk 14.3/23; Richmond 14.3/22; Denver 13.7/23; Buffalo 13.7/21; and Kansas City 13.3/22.

On Fox, the Season 8 launch of “Bob’s Burgers” reeled in a 1.3 and 3 million viewers, up more than 10% in both measures from the Season 7 premiere. The Season 29 debut of “The Simpsons” averaged a 1.4 and 3.3 million, on par with the Season 28 debut. The series opener of “Ghosted” drew a 1.4 rating, as previously mentioned, in addition to 3.6 million viewers. The Season 15 premiere of “Family Guy” brought a 1.3 and 2.9 million viewers, approximately even with last season’s premiere. The Season 4 launch of “Last Man on Earth” averaged a 0.9 and 2.3 million viewers, steady with Season 3’s debut.

For ABC, the Season 2 premiere of “The Toy Box” attracted a 0.4 and 2.2 million viewers, down approximately 50% in both measures from the Season 1 premiere. The “Shark Tank” Season 9 debut drew a 1.1 and 4.7 million viewers, even with the Season 8 premiere. A second episode of “Shark Tank” pulled a 1.4 and 5.4 million. The series opener of “Ten Days in the Valley” averaged a 0.6 and 3.5 million viewers.

NBC won the night, currently averaging a 4.6 and 13.4 million viewers. CBS was second with a 1.7 and 9.8 million viewers. Fox came in third in the demo with a 0.9, but fourth in viewers with 3.4 million. ABC finished fourth in the demo with a 0.9 and third in viewers with 3.9 million.
