Showtime has announced that Nathaniel De La Rosa, also known as “Bodega Bamz,” will join the cast of its new comedy series “SMILF.” He will recur as optimistic rapper Carlos, the best friend of Rafi (Miguel Gomez), Bridgette’s (Frankie Shaw) ex-boyfriend.

“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” star Natalia Cordova-Buckley has been promoted to series regular for Season 5 of the show, Marvel Television announced. Cordova-Buckley will continue on the ABC series as fan favorite Elena “Yo-Yo” Rodriguez, a “Columbian citizen who underwent Terrigenesis during the Inhumans Outbreak” with a power for superhuman speed.


Syfy has released the Season 1 trailer for its new series, “HAPPY!” The show, which will premiere Wednesday, December 6 at 10/9c, is based on the graphic novel of the same name by New York Times best-selling author Grant Morrison and Darick Robertson. It stars Christopher Meloni as drunken ex-cop turned hitman Nick Sax and Patton Oswalt as “Happy,” an imaginary blue winged horse. Watch the trailer below.
