‘Pitch Perfect 3’ Stars Join ‘The Voice’ Contestants for Music Video Crossover (Exclusive Photos)

The stars of “Pitch Perfect 3” and the Top 12 contestants on this season of “The Voice” will appear in a full-length music video.

The video will mash up the song’s “Cups” from the original “Pitch Perfect” and George Michael’s “Freedom! ’90.” The video will debut on Tuesday, Nov. 21 during “The Voice” on NBC. Immediately following the video’s airing, the free video download of the mash-up and advance tickets to the film will be available on Fandango. The song will also be available on iTunes at that time. The soundtrack will be available on Dec. 15.

“We are extremely excited to showcase ‘The Voice’ Top 12 artists alongside the ‘Pitch Perfect 3’ Bellas in this remarkable musical mash-up video that combines incredible vocal forces from both television and film,” said Jared Goldsmith, senior vice president of  marketing strategy and digital for NBC Entertainment. “This is a great example of a marketing partnership between NBC and Universal Pictures where the creative process was truly organic to both brands and I think audiences will absolutely enjoy it.”

“The Voice” revealed that the Top 12 contestants: Janice Freeman, Ashland Craft, Brooke Simpson, Noah Mac, Shi’Ann Jones, Davon Fleming, Red Marlow, Keisha Renee, Chloe Kohanski, Jon Mero, Adam Cunningham, and Addison Agen.

“Countless members of the NBCUniversal and Comcast family have stepped forward on this ‘Pitch Perfect 3’ collaboration,” said David O’Connor, executive vice president of franchise management and brand strategy for Universal Pictures. “With the support of ‘The Voice’—as well as multiple other partners across NBC and Fandango—the team has blurred lines to design an integration that is definitive of each brand and celebratory of our shared talent.”
