What’s Coming to Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime in October 2017

As October comes calling, streaming providers Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu will introduce some new, spooky content to help viewers get in the mood for Halloween.

Netflix will kick off the month of haunts and horrors by bringing in television shows and films like Season 2 of “Stranger Things,” Season 1 of “The Mist,” “Cult of Chucky,” and “Raw.” Viewers who aren’t fans of horror needn’t be afraid, and can look forward to offerings like “Blood Diamond,” “Hateful Eight,” and “Meet the Robinsons.”

Amazon is bringing even more frightful treats this month with content like “Blair Witch,” “Pet Sematary,” “Texas Chainsaw Massacre II,” and “American Horror Story” Season 6. Audiences who prefer scare-free options can dig into “Fargo,” “Jack Reacher: Never Go Back,” and “Escape From L.A.”

Rounding out the list, Hulu will have “The Amityville Horror,” the original “Carrie,” and “Poltergeist II” and “Poltergeist III” available to stream. Other digital goodies include “Snatch,” “Kill Bill” volumes one and two, and Season 7 of “Adventure Time.”
