Did you miss her?

As if summoned by “Saturday Night Live,” Kellyanne Conway is back in the spotlight. The counselor to President Donald Trump was caught up in a viral moment when Anderson Cooper let slip an exasperated eye roll in response to one of Conway’s comments while discussing Trump’s firing of FBI director James Comey on CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360” Tuesday evening.

Conway seized the moment on Thursday morning’s “Fox & Friends,” and came with a monologue prepared to explain why, to her, Cooper’s actions were sexist.

The Case for Banning Kellyanne Conway From TV News (Column)

“[Cooper] had me sit through a bunch of tapes showing then candidate Trump commending Jim Comey about Hillary Clinton’s emails, talking about him etc. And the fact is that they showed all these clips and it showed candidate Trump in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and I said ‘Hey, thanks for the trip down memory lane and talked about winning Michigan,’ and then he rolled his eyes,” Conway told Fox and Friends. “Let me tell you something, Hillary Clinton is in search of sexism as an excuse for why her disastrous candidacy and campaign lost six months ago. I face sexism a lot of times when I show up for interviews like that. Could you imagine having a male anchor on a network roll eyes at Hillary Clinton or a female representative spokeswoman for President Obama or President Bill Clinton? I think not.”

Oh, and the “sexist” eye roll is here:

  1. Damon says:

    Spin Master for sure.

  2. jennifer says:

she’s complaining about an “eye roll” from him but it shows her “wink” first, if anything that is sexist…

  3. Eric Coles says:

so would she have called Anderson sexiest if he would have grabbed her the same way that Trump thought was appropriate to grab a woman, just saying……..

  4. Thoughts from across the pond says:

I’m not sure I follow her reasoning. If it is unimaginable that a male network anchor would roll his eyes at Hillary or a female rep, then surely it is not sexism that made Cooper roll his eyes at Conway.

  5. Mishka says:

I thought that Cooper is a classy gentleman….my mistake! Not again.

  6. Honestly, I would have thought it was sexist, too, at one point but for all the lies, condescension, legislative violence, and complete CHAOS we have been subjected to because of this administration, an eye roll is like a love tap. She is lucky she got off so easy. She needs to get over herself, stop LYING, and stop covering up for the Liar in Chief.

  7. Jacqueline Flynn says:

Sexist, condescending pri-k. Sorry thought cooper anderson had more class..guess not.

    • Valle says:

Maybe he was just reacting to that flirtatious “wink” she gave him just moments before, when she refused to answer yet another direct question … by dredging up old campaign rhetoric … again

  8. Barb says:

I’m sure he would roll his eyes at a male who evaded answering the question too. I’m female and I rolled my eyes at her answers more than once!

  9. Bda31175 says:

Whatever. Thank you for keeping us abreast of these recent developments Kelly. Youre doing a great job!

  10. Ivanna Tinkle says:

Kellyanne Clownway is just jealous Anderson Cooper is way prettier than she ever was. She should go back to hosting “Tales from the Crypt” and stay far away from the news. All she does is lie and embarrass herself. It’s sad a great journalist like Cooper has to waste time trying to talk to this hack. Hope she goes to jail with her treasonous boss. And she has said repeatedly she is not a feminist and now she wants to cry sexist. Please, sounds just like a cry baby snowflake

  11. Ally says:

The eye roll wasn’t in response to an answer, Variety, it was in response to Kellyanne winking at him after insulting him while deflecting from a question.

    • jennifer says:

right!!…I’m like why is no one saying anything about her wink first…that is more sexist than his eye roll which was completely not sexism

  12. jsm1963 says:

    He’s sexist, because…. Michigan.

  13. Kaboom! says:

The real fact is that Anderson Cooper hates women. He is a hater. CNN should immediately fire him.

  14. sinista1 says:

His eye roll was because of her “Shots Fired” unprofessional comment about Michigan which she finished with an eye wink which Anderson answered with the eye roll…

She deserved it, and Trump would be better of if he fired her and put Omarosa in that spot… At least she has a spine and can hold her own…

    • topbrassblog says:

Agreed. Omarosa is a MUCH classier choice.

    • Bill B. says:

Why wouldn’t he roll his eyes?! No one can credibly support this moronic president and expect others to not react. I didn’t see it as I just couldn’t handle any more incredulously insane news yesterday and did something else, but I thought she wasn’t allowed on CNN news anymore.

  15. George Lewis says:

Surprised by you Kellyanne. Andersen ‘Scooper’ Cooper’s eye rolls were very wrong, but not “sexist”. He’s supposed to be a reporter/anchor, not the leftist CNN fake news commentator that he is.

  16. Viewer Sj says:

What’s sexist about it? What does Michigan have to do with the topic at hand? CON-Way typically using distraction. Irony of talking sexism on a network that doesn’t allow their female anchors to wear pants, which has a “leg cam,” & routinely puts women on couches & behind glass desks to appeal to their audience of dirty old men

  17. Blue Silver says:

KellyAnne: It IS NOT SEXIST! He rolled his eyes because you danced around the questions and never gave a straight answer… You do this crap WAY too often….
