Armoza Formats has boarded “Back to Life,” a new primetime format aimed to show the emotional journeys of families and patients who are in a race against time to receive a life-saving organ donation.

Produced for Israel’s Channel 10, “Back to Life” is a docu-reality series giving an intimate look at the struggle of patients who are on the waiting list for organ donation and simultaneously discover the story of their donor.

The format also portrays the act of giving – either by a living donor or that of a grieving family. “Back to Life” explores the psychological, moral and emotional issues that affect everyone involved on the journey between life and death.

“‘Back to Life’ is one of those defining moments in which you get the chance to combine excellent touching television and communal responsibility,” said Noa Shenhav, program manager at Channel 10 Israel. “This is in fact one of our most important agendas as a main broadcasting channel.”

Avi Armoza, CEO of Armoza Formats, called “Back to Life” a meaningful format which offers “the unique opportunity to impact life and the saving of life.”
