Former Fifth Harmony singer Camila Cabello shows off her comic chops in a hilarious, telenova-inspired new video for her song “Havana.” The clip features Latin actors Lele Pons and LeJuan James and was helmed by Dave Meyers, the veteran director famed for his classic Missy Elliott videos, as well as Kendrick Lamar’s “Humble” and clips for Rihanna, Pink, Ariana Grande and others.

“Havana” starts off with the Cuban-American singer as a nerdy introvert watching telenovas at home with her grandmother while her sassy sister goes out with friends. After her grandmother falls asleep, Cabello goes to the movies, where she sees a film starring a version of herself — with some caliente dancing and a guest appearance from rapper Young Thug. The clip is “dedicated to all dreamers,” and when you see the end you’ll understand why.

The song, released in TK, recently passed the 200-million stream mark on Spotify and hit No. 20 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Cabello left Fifth Harmony in December and while the public stance was positive at the time, the group threw shade at Cabello during their performance at the MTV Video Music Awards in August: at the beginning of their performance, the four members were joined by an anonymous fifth member who was immediately thrown offstage.

Cabello has released two singles and several featured appearances since she left the group; her solo debut album is expected in late 2017 or early 2018.
